In today's high tech world, you won't miss a beat in our services. From audio, video to lights, our worship is designed to communicate God's word in a clear and relevant way that connects with who you are as it relates to who He is!

At The Family Church, we define our purpose in worship as experiencing life-changing encounters with God, in which our minds' attention and our heart's affections are centered on God. We describe our style of worship as a hybrid of the past and present, with an emphasis on the latter when it comes to song selections, types of instruments, use of dramatic forms, and use of multi-media - all intended to lead people to experience God in both heart and mind.

Worship Arts

We believe that God as our Creator made us in His likeness. Because of that, we believe that creativity is not only possible but even purposeful in expressing our relationship with God through worship. As needed, our Worship Ministry uses various forms of the Worship Arts:

• Drama
• Interpretative Movement
• Signing
• Dance
• Song Writing/Arranging

Worship Choir

The Worship Choir is a non-auditioned choir for all adults and high school students. Its ministry is focused primarily on Sunday worship services with occasional presentations of seasonal and general musical dramas. The Worship Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 6:30 PM (concluding at 8:00). Child-care is provided.

Vocalists

We welcome vocalists to join our Worship Ministry at any time. We believe that singing is a mandate from God for all His creation. We recognize also that God has gifted many with a vocal talent that can be used to minister to and encourage others through worship.

Vocalists are encouraged to first get connected with the Adult Worship Choir. Once participation is established there, we may pursue other opportunities with you for serving through our Vocal Teams and Soloist-Plus Ministry.

Instrumentalists

We are always looking for more woodwind, brass, string, guitar, keyboard and percussion players to join our team whether a teenager or an adult who has at least three-years playing experience.

Our Instrumental Team is a hybrid of Rhythm Section players and Orchestra players. Our goal is to glorify God with excellence and to serve Him wholeheartedly.

Kidz Music (preschoolers/children)

Each Wednesday (August through May) at 6:00 p.m., we provide an age-graded choir ministry for preschoolers and children. We offer music groups, ranging from age three through grade 5.

The priorities of Kidz Music are:

• Development of worshipers and worship leaders
• Spiritual foundations through songs, past and present
• Discovery and development of the singing voice
• Understanding of the language of music
• Fun with music
