He's been called the man upstairs...the good Lord...and He's been asked to damn things...Why do people use His name so flippantly? Is the person of God - whatever you call him, a trivial being? Who is He really? Can He be understood? Can we really get to know Him? What does He have to do with our everday lives?
There are times in our lives when all of us struggle with these issues. Where is God? Does he notice or care? How could God allow such things to happen? That's why we are doing this series, The Biography of God.
It is our prayer that you will get to know God through this series. If we get to know Him as He is, we'll be better equipped to face the challenges of this life.
He's the creator of all. He knows it all. Knowing God provides security when everything around us is uncertain. Your financial position may be uncertain in this economy. Your marriage may be on shaky ground. Your children may be headed for danger. Your job may be in jeopardy.
